Limerick Lace | Cultural Event

As part of August Craft Month, a nationwide celebration supported by the Design & Crafts Council Ireland, I was commissioned to document a special event honoring Limerick’s rich textile heritage. With over 400 events taking place across the island, this specific gathering focused on the intricate art of Limerick Lace. My photography captured the delicate craftsmanship and the vibrant community spirit of the festival, preserving the cultural significance of this traditional art form amidst a modern celebration of Irish creativity.
